For QS & PM Firms

Multiply the capacity of your senior team.
Run more projects.
Charge premium.

Take-off, BoQs and CVRs built by AI in a fraction of the time — so your senior QSs spend their hours on the advisory work clients actually pay premium fees for. The force multiplier your firm has needed for fifteen years.

Where revenue per fee earner stalls

Three quiet ways QS firms cap their own ceiling.

01

Senior time on junior work

Your best QSs are still doing manual take-off because juniors are slower and outsourcing eats margin. Senior hourly value wasted on £30/hr work — and there's no obvious way out without hiring more juniors who'll take two years to be useful.

02

Capacity is the ceiling

You can't take on more projects without hiring — and good QSs are unaffordable, untrainable in six months, or both. Every new client request becomes a yes-with-caveats or a regretful no. Growth flatlines on headcount.

03

Fee compression

Clients squeeze fee scales every cycle. You're delivering the same scope for less — and the only ways out are to deliver faster, or give away even more advisory time for free. Without a platform, both routes lead to senior burnout.

The shift

The fee earner's force multiplier. Senior judgement, AI-speed delivery — without growing the team.

Two modules. Built for fee earners.

Everything you need to deliver premium output, in a fraction of the time.

ConstructEther is a four-module platform. Most QS and PM consultancies live in two of them — and these are the two that move revenue per fee earner. If your firm offers PM, principal designer or CDM services, ask about the full stack on the demo.

Module · Pre-contract

Tender Intelligence

Automated take-off, BoQ generation, tender analysis and bid documentation — so junior-priced delivery flows from senior judgement, not senior time.

  • AI take-off direct from drawings — measured, not eyeballed
  • BoQ generation tied to your firm's rate library
  • Tender analysis with scope-gap and risk flags
  • Bid documentation drafted to your house standard
Launching Q3 2026
Module · Post-contract

Commercial Engine

CVR automation, valuations, variations register and post-contract reporting — the premium output your clients pay you for, in a fraction of the prep time.

  • Automated CVR cycles — weekly, not monthly
  • Valuations and applications tracked per project
  • Variations register with full audit trail
  • Post-contract reporting drafted in minutes, not hours
Stage 02
Honest about timing

Four modules. One operating system. Your two core modules ship first — by design.

Tender Intelligence enters closed beta in Q3 2026 — your primary module, and our launching module. Commercial Engine follows as Stage 2. The remaining modules (Project Delivery, Compliance) are available to firms offering PM, principal designer or CDM services. Founding Partner places open now.

How it works

Three steps. One workflow.

Step 01

Drawings and tender packs in

Drop the project pack in — drawings, specs, BoQ template, contract amendments. The platform reads everything in one go. No manual sorting, no copy-paste, no re-keying.

Step 02

AI handles take-off, BoQ, cost analysis

Take-off, BoQ, scope-gap report and cost analysis — produced in hours. The platform does the heavy lifting; your senior team reviews and signs off, not starts from zero.

Step 03

Your team delivers premium output

Your senior QS reviews, refines and advises. Output goes to your client in a fraction of the time — at the standard your firm is known for, with the senior judgement clients pay premium fees for.

What changes

Three outcomes you'll feel inside one project.

3× projects
per fee earner
Same headcount, more revenue. The lever your firm has been missing for fifteen years.
Take-off in hours,
not days
Senior time freed for the advisory work clients actually pay premium fees for.
Premium advisory,
junior-priced delivery
Defend fee scales without giving away more time. Differentiate on output — not on hours.
Built by a QS, for QS firms

Not a software vendor pitch. A peer's playbook.

AE

I run a consultancy. We deliver the same work your firm does. ConstructEther isn't software pitched at QS firms — it's the platform I built so my own firm could run leaner, charge premium, and not lose senior staff to take-off burnout. If it works for Dawn Consult, it'll work for yours.

The questions you'll ask

Straight answers, no software-vendor waffle.

If your question isn't here, we'll handle it on the demo call. No script, no "let me check with the team."

When can my firm actually start using this?
Tender Intelligence enters closed beta in Q3 2026 with Founding Partner firms only. Full launch is Q1 2027. Commercial Engine follows as Stage 2. There are 10 Founding Partner places — one confirmed (Creed Housing) — and these firms shape the rollout, get early access, and lock in founding-firm pricing. Beyond beta, the platform is available to any QS or PM consultancy from Q1 2027 onwards.
How accurate is the AI take-off versus manual?
Comparable to a senior QS, faster than a junior. The platform measures from CAD and PDF drawings using vector geometry — not pattern recognition — so the underlying maths is the same as a manual take-off, just orders of magnitude faster. Your senior QS reviews the output before it leaves the firm, which is what you'd do with a junior's work anyway. Most firms find the platform catches scope gaps the human eye misses, particularly on M&E packages and elevations.
How do I roll this out without disrupting live projects?
You don't try. We onboard the platform on the next new project that lands — typically 1–2 weeks alongside your existing workflow — while live projects continue running the way they always have. Once the pilot proves the timesaving on one project, we extend to subsequent projects. No big-bang migration, no firm-wide disruption, no risk to ongoing client work.
Will my juniors still learn the craft?
Yes — and faster. Juniors learn QS by reviewing senior work, asking questions, and gradually taking on more responsibility. The platform changes what they review (faster output, more projects, more variety) but doesn't replace the senior–junior dialogue. If anything, juniors get exposure to a wider range of project types in their first two years than they would in a manual workflow — which is how you build commercial judgement, not just measurement skill.
Pricing model — per seat, per project, or per firm?
Per firm, with capacity-based tiers. We don't charge per seat (which penalises you for putting juniors on the platform) or per project (which makes you the platform's debt collector). Tiers are based on annual project volume — a 5-fee-earner consultancy pays a fraction of what a 100-fee-earner firm pays, but neither is paying per take-off. Founding Partner firms lock in tier pricing that doesn't move when we go to full launch. Confirmed pricing on the demo call, against your firm's actual project volume.

See what your team could do with 3× the capacity.

Twenty minutes. No slides. Bring one live tender or BoQ — we'll run it on the platform and you keep the output. If the timesaving doesn't change what your senior team could be doing with their week, you walk away with the project work either way.
